Aanandghar Child Care (Balsangopan Kendra), Learning and Research Center, formally opened on 1st November, 2015. But the journey began in 2006. It has all started with the study, training, workshops on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) since 2006. It resulted in building a foundation, mainly on children's developmental stages, physical psychological, social, emotional, and how children learn. The importance and the scope of child care and education, was realised. The study also made it clear that what is the status of education at the national and international level, what should change. It has all been churned and this is where the combined study of Law (Especially, The Indian Constitution, The Right to Education Act) and Education has started. I believe both ideological fight and actual work are necessary for a positive change. Two important things-1. Aanandghar is a part of study of Law and Education (Especially, ECCE Early Childhood Care and Education). 2. Aanandghar is not just a child care center but a movement of Child Rights.
Objectives and Special Features of Aanandghar- * Trained staff * Child Centric, child friendly atmosphere. * Healthy (Love, Happiness, Trust, Freedom, Security) environment of Aanandghar helps for all round development of children. * Creativity, imagination, thinking ability, problem solving. * Cognizance of child Psychology. * Quality in child care. * Nutritious food prepared in our kitchen * Conscious efforts to protect childhood. * Emphasis on emotional stability of a child, parent and family. * Supporting system for parents. * Emphasis on staff training, ongoing training throughout the year.* Celebrations : Festivals , Birthday * Annual function * Strict Legal actions for child abuse. Workshops conducted by experts on the topics like arts and crafts, paintings, traditional games, cooking, pottery, making Ganesh Idol, Science toys, Robotics Assembly, Scratch Programming. It is a process of learning by doing.
With continuous demand from parents, Infant care section started at Aanandghar. We think it's a need of the hour as an increasing number of women are struggling for their dreams to come true. Age group- 6 months - 2 years (Infant) Age group- 2 yrs - 12 yrs.
